- Elise Murphy
- After leaving the advertising world to focus on her writing full time, she moved to a small farm in the Pacific Northwest where she keeps 7 goats, 11 chickens, 5 ducks, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. Her wild animal kingdom is shared by three daughters and her very useful husband, also known as Mr. Encyclopedia Man.
